To better serve the Community, the City is offering for residents to drop off BULKY ITEMS on three (3) Saturdays during 2016. The Maintenance Facility located at 5900 Cowden will have two (2) roll-offs available on these scheduled dates (see below for schedule) There will be certain items prohibited from dumping, for example (no chemicals, tires, etc.) Please contact City Hall should you have a question on any item. Only 5 cubic yards per dump (approximately the size of a pickup bed or small trailer) are allowed.
When you enter the maintenance facility, there will be two staff members to assist and monitor all dumping. Citizens will be allowed two (2) free days to dispose of bulk items per calendar year. YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT WATER BILL WITH YOU. Staff will verify with a current water bill and a master list. Citizens will be allowed additional dumping of bulk items during the year after their two free visits for a cost of $50.00 per truck load.
For your convenience, a recycle bin is located at the Maintenance Facility at 5900 Cowden from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday only. However, you can only place recyclable items in the recycle bin.

The facility will open at 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. only for bulky drop off.

It’s finally here – you can pay your utility bill online. Go to the Utility Billing page, click on the “Utility Payment – click here” link.
Another way to pay online: go to www.trafficpayment.com and follow the same directions.
The City of Sansom Park has an Ordinance that requires owner’s of residential rental properties to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy before allowing a renter to occupy the premise. If the Certificate of Occupancy is not obtained prior to renter’s occupying the premises, water service for the tenant will not be turned on. Occupants may be required to remove all belongings from the premise until the Certificate of Occupancy is obtained by the owner. Fines will be assessed to owner’s who do not comply with this Ordinance.
Effective immediately there will no longer be quarterly bulk pickups. There will continue to be regular/weekly collections of bulk pickup with the following regulations:
- Need to be curbside no later than 7:00 a.m. on the day of pickup
- Reasonably contained and not to exceed three (3) cubic yards in total volume
- Not have any individual item exceeding fifty (50) pounds in weight.
