Provided below are Frequently Asked Questions we receive regularly with answers provided for your convenience:

Is a permit required to have a garage sale?  A permit is required before conducting a garage sale.  Citizens may obtain the permit at Sansom Park City Hall, the cost is $5.00 and is good for three (3) consecutive days.  Citizens are allowed four (4) garage sales a year.  One sign is allowed to be placed on the property where the garage sale is located.

Do I need a permit to have work done on my property?  Before starting construction/remodeling on a residential or commercial property please contact Sansom Park City Hall to inquire if a permit is needed. (To obtain more information, click on the Permits & Inspections page)

How tall can my grass be?  Cannot be grown to a height that exceeds twelve (12) inches.  (To obtain more information, click on the “Code Enforcement” page)

What constitutes Junk and Debris?  Rubbish, brush any and all other objectionable, unsightly or unsanitary matter of whatever nature.  (To obtain more information, click on the “Code Enforcement” page)

Can I park a vehicle in my front yard?  No automobile, truck or trailer shall be parked on any area of a residential lot except upon a property permitted driveway or parking area.  (To obtain more information, click on the “Code Enforcement” page)

Am I required to have my address posted on my house/business?  Yes.  The owner, occupant or person in control of every dwelling or place of business within the City shall affix the street address number to said dwelling or place of business.
