Our Location

The City of Sansom Park is well located on Jacksboro Highway, just 5 miles northwest from Downtown Fort Worth and 7 miles east of the Joint Reserve Base and Lockheed. Traffic counts on Jacksboro Highway through Sansom Park are strong with 27,000 to 30,000 vehicles per day. 

New Development

The City is taking an aggressive stance towards attracting new development with the creation of a Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone covering both the Jacksboro Highway and Azle Avenue commercial corridors. The TIRZ was established to help improve the aesthetics along the corridors as well as finance infrastructure improvements. The City also has secured public and private grants for over $500,000 towards median improvements along Jacksboro Highway.
